Taming the To-Do List

So much to do, so little time to do it. How will you get it all done? Well, maybe you won't....which is where Kathe's wise counsel comes in. Grab your to-do list. If you don't have one, I'll wait. Ready? Let's roll! Kathe's advice is:
  1. Figure out the ONE most important thing you need to do.
  2. Do that one thing.
  3. Check it off the list...done!

Here is the genius part: Look at the rest of the list as optional . In other words, see anything else you get done as a bonus. Gravy. Frosting on the proverbial cake.

For weeks, I've had a terminal case of the Summertime To-do List Blues. Then I recalled Kathe's advice. My priority? This e-news, and recognizing that calmed me down and helped me focus. It's now checked off my list and maybe I'll get to some of the other stuff on my list...or maybe not. It is summer, after all! :)
