Butler gymnasium

(Grades 3-6 only)

We're looking forward to our annual Haunted Gymnasium scheduled for Friday, October 21 as 6th grade students transform Butler's gymnasium into a spooky attraction.

This event is open to Butler students in grades 3 to 6. Students must be wearing a wristband to be admitted. These wristbands will be put on before the end of school on the Friday of the event. This year we are also allowing former Butler students if their sibling is participating in the event and they are accompanied by a parent. All groups must be accompanied by an adult. No student only groups will be permitted. Any questions...please contact Haunted Gymnasium event co-chairs Colleen or James.

The PTO would like to invite any Butler family businesses to participate in our upcoming Vendor Fair on Friday, December 9. You bring your products to sell and the PTO will provide a large table and two chairs for

$20.00. (There will be no repeats of exact businesses). We had a great showing of student tables last year! We would love to have even more student tables this year.

Registration will be accepted until all spots have been filled or 11/11/22. See

It's not too late... We are asking for a $15 contribution per household (Butler Family) as the means to offset the expenses for organizing and holding the events. For those who wish, you can sponsor another Butler family’s $15 contribution. Payment is preferred through MyPaymentsPlus or submit a check with this form.

**Please note: All volunteer opportunities are subject to change based on District guidelines. We ask that you please refrain from cell phone usage during your volunteer shift. Unfortunately, younger siblings are no longer permitted to accompany volunteers. You must have your volunteer clearances completed prior to signing up for lunch duty.

A friendly reminder - in order to volunteer in the classroom, you must have current volunteer clearances through CBSD. The process is EASY and all done online using the Volunteer Tracker App to track volunteer clearances. Every CB volunteer will need to register, and upload their clearances.

Pennsylvania law requires all persons having direct contact with school children obtain background checks and clearances. Click here for the required clearances, along with links to the state’s websites, which may be found on the CBSD website.
