Thumb - Anxiety, worry
Index finger - Fear, frustration
Middle finger - Anger, irritability
Ring finger - Sadness, negativity
Little finger - Insecurity, nervousness

To begin, wrap the fingers of your left hand around your right thumb. Close your eyes. Inhale, focusing on any sensations or feelings that may arise; exhale, releasing all muscular tension. Hold for as long as you wish. Continue with each finger. If you'd like, repeat on the opposite hand. When complete, rest your hands in your lap, palms up and fingers gently curled in a gesture of acceptance.
