Dream Works 2014 is almost here and there are a few things that we are still in need of for the event. So we are
petitioning area businesses, non-profits, and individuals to support Dream Works by way of the following: sponsoring an IAS; In-Kind/ monetary donations (tax deductible); and /or providing volunteers.

We invite you to have your first "Feel Good" moment of 2014 by way of your support, as this event is purposed to encourage youth to learn about and get engaged with service opportunities.

Previously, Dream Works was held on MLK Day only, but this year we wished to expand it to a 3 day event. The weekend of January 18th-20th will consist of:

  • Community Feeding on Sunday January 19th, 12p.m. - 2p.m. at Monroe Park
  • Service Organizations Fair on Monday, January 20th, 12p.m. - 4p.m. at Richmond Prep Campus
    •  Community Service themed Interactive Activity Stations (IAS)Children and youth will be able to learn about different ways of getting involved in the community by doing hands-on activities geared towards different forms of community service For instance, building a model house out of wooden sticks at a station sponsored by a home building non-profit.
