A Message from our PTA President, Rachel Reed
The end of this school year certainly feels bittersweet. It has been such an honor to serve as PTA President. Yet, the real recognition goes to the PTA officers and parent volunteers. I cannot thank you enough for the hours you dedicated to our school. Bradfield cannot function and would not be such an incredibly special community without you.
I could not be more grateful for the dedication, hard work and support from the 2024-2025 PTA Executive Board. Not only did this group of ladies seize every possible opportunity to make Bradfield a better place, but they also made my year a whole lot more fun. The thanks goes to:

To the Bradfield staff, thank you for dedication to our children. Thank you also for supporting PTA and our countless activities all year long! We couldn’t do it without you!
PTA had no greater supporter this year than Dr. Hilton. She embraced our Bradfield traditions with infectious energy, enthusiasm, and good humor. I feel so very lucky to have had the privilege of working with her every day and will dearly miss that part of this role.
I want to say a very heartfelt thanks to Laura McCallan, who served as Member-at-Large this year. Her year as president last year set the standard and set this year up for success. But, more importantly she provided more friendship, guidance, counsel and encouragement to me than she will ever realize. I would have been lost without her.
Finally, I am honored to pass the torch to 2025-2026 PTA President, Kamela Aboussie, who is going to have the most amazing year. There is not a kinder, more selfless, more compassionate person around, and our Broncos and Bradfield staff could not be luckier to have her pour her heart into our beloved school next year. Truly one of the best parts of serving as PTA President this year has been having Kam as my partner every step of the way.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve this special community that is Bradfield! I look forward to seeing everyone again in August. If you need me for anything in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Kamela Aboussie!!!!
