Happy Chanukah
Sure, we could have picked a menorah or a dreidel for our Chanukah greeting card picture. But, c'mon, we're from the South, and nothing says, "Let's celebrate," like good food.

So here's hoping your Chanukah is filled with
love and latkes!

From our Museum family to yours we say,
Shalom. Make yourself at home.
Pictured above are delicious potato latkes, a traditional food served in Jewish households during the 8-day festival of Chanukah. Foods fried in oil remind us of the miracle of one day's worth of oil lasting eight days during the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem, following the Jews' victory over the Greeks in 165 BCE. We eat doughnuts, too!
