FirstPark Receives Attention as Dog Friendly Business Park
FirstPark was recently featured on NewsCenter Maine for being dog friendly. In addition to allowing employees from businesses in the park to have dogs, FirstPark is planning to build a dog park on the property to provide all employees with a healthy and safe atmosphere for their dogs. The park is also dog friendly because of the clear sidewalks and local veterinary office right next to the park.

Businesses are attracted to FirstPark because studies show that pets at work have calming effects, reduce blood pressure, lower stress, and make employees more cordial and productive.

In May, FirstPark continued to attract more businesses to the park by hosting three site visits. One of the recent visits was from a consultant visiting Maine for the first time. Professional office space for sale or lease

Located near the entrance of FirstPark, this is presently the only office space available within the park. The property has high visibility and is convenient to Exit 127 off of Interstate 95. It is located at 25 FirstPark Drive at the corner of N 2nd Rangeway.
Seeking development partner

With the local economic development projects in the area, including downtown Waterville, affordable housing is hard to find. Recently, FirstPark's appraiser and others have shared the opportunity for FirstPark to find a development partner for Lots 11 and 12 and perhaps other properties within the park for multifamily housing. The result would help with recruitment and retention of employees to live/work in FirstPark or in central Maine.

FirstPark is attracting students from local colleges at Colby, Thomas College, KVCC and others who have invested in their education in Maine, built a professional network in the area and who love living in Maine to stay and build a business here.

The advertisement in the Explorer will be read by many tourists, including business owners who like vacationing or summering in Maine. The ad provides information so executives and real estate professionals can learn more about FirstPark and the quality of life in the region.
