The votes cast at satellites are absentee ballots, and voters have to fill out both a ballot application and an affidavit envelope. When they are done voting they need to seal the ballot in the envelope, SIGN THE ENVELOPE, and put it in the ballot box. These ballots will be counted with other absentee ballots on Election Day. Voter registration forms will be available at all locations for persons to register to vote or report changes to their voter registration record. The voter registration form requires the voter’s driver’s license number, non-operator driver’s license number or the last four digits of the voter’s Social Security number.
REUSE/REPURPOSE OF HIGH SCHOOL
The old high school will be repurposed/reused in a few different ways. The District will move Central Administration, Instructional Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Technology Department, Business Affairs Department and the High School Alternative Program to the current high school, specifically the English rooms and Main Office on the East side of the building and the band, vocal, orchestra rooms on the South Side of the building, which were updated 20 years ago. From the consolidation of the above to the old high school building the District would sell two buildings; 3809 Cedar Heights Drive and is called the Educational Support Center which houses the District Technology Department and the Cedar Falls High School Alternative Program and 1002 W. First Street Administrative Center, this building houses the Business Affairs Department, Instructional Technology, Curriculum and Instruction and Central Administrators. The District will also partner with the city recreation department to use spaces on the north end/gymnasiums and track/field. The three story section on the west side of the building, built in the 1950's is not fiscally or structurally prudent to invest funds and would be torn down.

The below video explains the tax impact on a $100,000 home in greater detail.
Keep in mind the following:
1) The calculation is an estimate for the first year of the bond.
2) The cost goes down over the life of the bond. For example, the estimated cost would be less than $7/month on a $100,000 home by year 15 of the 20-year bond.
