The NCHA student health survey launches Thursday, October 6!

"Take the NCHA Survey and win big" with image of prizes

The National College Health Assessment (NCHA) is Brandeis' primary source of student health data. The survey is anonymous and takes about 20-30 minutes to complete.

Be Counted - Help ensure that our survey results accurately represent the diversity of the Brandeis student body.

Shape the Future - Survey data is used to inform the direction of health and wellness services at Brandeis.

All students who complete the survey will be entered to win one of eight prizes: a Toshiba TV, Nintendo Switch Lite, Airpods Pro, Wonderboom speaker, Eno hammock, Herschel duffle bag, color-sync LED strip lights, and a Verilux therapy lamp.

Check your Brandeis email on October 6th for your unique link.

The survey closes October 27th. If you have questions about the survey please contact leahb@brandeis.edu

Have a Safe and Spooky Halloween!

This year, avoid being haunted by risky decisions. Remember that you don't need booooze to have a good time. If you decide to consume any potions, remember these tips to avoid getting poisoned - that would really kill the mood.

If you choose to drink alcohol on Halloween:

  • Choose a costume that makes you feel confident and comfortable
  • Eat a full meal before drinking
  • Set a limit and count your drinks
  • Do not leave your drink unattended
  • Intervene (direct, distract, distance, delegate, document) if something isn't right or someone is in danger
  • Stay with your friends and look out for each other
  • Plan a safe ride home
