SUMMER LEARNING CHALLENGE
It's the final weeks of the Summer Learning Challenge! Don't stop reading now! You have until August 31 to finish your Reading Log. Fill in your finisher form at www.redwoodcity.org/summerlearning. By completing the finisher form children 18 and under are entered into a drawing for a $1,000 scholarship.

Prizes and finisher books can be picked up at the Downtown Library during curbside pickup service hours through September 5.

Zip Books is a way for customers to request books that the Library doesn't own. The item is shipped directly to you using Amazon Prime.

NEWS FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
The Friends have received a large batch of honey from our @RCPLBees and are now taking orders for honey pickup on Saturday, August 29 between 10 and noon. Dogs love to hear stories! Join us via Zoom on September 12 at 11am and read to a specially trained dogs provided by the Peninsula Humane Society. The format of this program allows limited time slots. Reserve your spot today!

Join us on September 12 at 12pm and learn about different African drums like the djembe, talking drum, and shekere. Learn how to play rhythms using items around your home and we will have a virtual dance & drum circle at the end.
