Jeuveau #newtox by Evolus is an alternative to  Botox. The other two alternatives to  Botox available in the United States are Dysport and Xeomin. Like  Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin,  Jeuveau #newtox by Evolus treats wrinkles that are associated with facial expression. These include the horizontal wrinkles seen on your forehead when you raise your eyebrows, the vertical wrinkles seen between your eyebrows when you frown, and the crow's feet seen around your eyes when you smile or squint.

Unlike Dysport and Xeomin, the protein  Jeuveau #newtox by Evolus is the exact same size as the protein in  Botox. This makes them act almost exactly the same. In fact, studies showed that over a period of five months the results are the same with  Jeuveau #newtox by Evolus as compared with  Botox. Also, the safety profile of the two products were the same and the patient satisfaction was the same. The biggest difference between Jeuveau #newtox by Evolus and Botox is the Hi-Pure technology used to manufacture Jeuveau.

Although the preparation of Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin were approved by the FDA, their manufacturing cannot be changed, despite there being newer and better technology available. However, Jeuveau #newtox by Evolus is prepared using Hi-Pure technology that removes other proteins so that Jeuveau #newtox by Evolus is purer and theoretically safer. 

Jeuveau #newtox by Evolus was tested for side effects (adverse events). Twice as much  Jeuveau #newtox by Evolus was required to lead to an adverse event as  Botox.
