UF Health Jacksonville, Gary Sinise Foundation Avalon Network unveil transformative, integrative wellness program

The new UF Health Jacksonville Leon L. Haley Jr., M.D., Brain Wellness Program will provide transformative care to veterans and first responders experiencing persistent health problems associated with mild to moderate traumatic brain injuries along with associated behavioral health problems, such as post-traumatic stress.

Services are provided at no cost to military veterans.
What expectant mothers can expect at UF Health North
When it comes to having a baby, selecting a provider and delivery location is an important choice. UF Health Women’s Specialists – North provides excellent care for expectant mothers from the start of pregnancy to delivery.
UF Health Jacksonvilles OMFS program climbs the rankings
UF Health Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Jacksonville improved its standing as one of the best nationally, moving up to 39th, according to U.S. News & World Report.
Flagler Health+ and UF Health expand clinical care and training initiatives

Flagler Health+ and UF Health announced plans to collaborate on an expansion of graduate medical education programs and an array of clinical services across Northeast Florida, including new primary care sites in St. Johns and Flagler counties.

Holiday Hurrah of Gratitude brings cheer

In honor of our employees’ resilience and commitment, UF Health Jacksonville hosted a weeklong celebration called the Holiday Hurrah of Gratitude.

The Holiday Hurrah of Gratitude featured pet therapy, massage chairs, life-sized board games and other interactive activities. It was a way of showing appreciation for our faculty and staff who provide high-quality patient care.

A UF Health Jacksonville emergency nurse started her career in health care after seeing her brother in action.

For Andrea Koller and her brother, Brian Brown, their passion for health care runs deep and has only grown stronger over the past 20 years.

Before working with the Orlando Magic and USA Basketball, Mark W. Hollmann, M.D., completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the UF College of Medicine – Jacksonville.

April 23: A Night for Heroes celebrates 15th anniversary

On Saturday, April 23, A Night for Heroes will celebrate its 15th anniversary at TIAA Bank Field, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Established in 2008 to support UF Health TraumaOne, A Night for Heroes has grown thanks to the devoted volunteers who give their time and energy to raising awareness and support for trauma and critical care at UF Health Jacksonville.

Dr. Aaron Saguil to lead Department of Community Health and Family Medicine

With a career as an Army physician that has taken him to Washington D.C., Afghanistan, Germany and Texas, UF College of Medicine graduate Aaron Saguil, M.D., M.P.H., FAAFP, will return to Gainesville to join the faculty at his alma mater.

Saguil has been named to lead the UF College of Medicine Department of Community Health and Family Medicine as its next chair, effective June 6. He will take over for David Feller, M.D., who served as interim chair of the department.
