UF Health Jacksonville, Gary Sinise Foundation Avalon Network unveil transformative, integrative wellness program
The new UF Health Jacksonville Leon L. Haley Jr., M.D., Brain Wellness Program will provide transformative care to veterans and first responders experiencing persistent health problems associated with mild to moderate traumatic brain injuries along with associated behavioral health problems, such as post-traumatic stress.
Services are provided at no cost to military veterans.

The Holiday Hurrah of Gratitude featured pet therapy, massage chairs, life-sized board games and other interactive activities. It was a way of showing appreciation for our faculty and staff who provide high-quality patient care.

On Saturday, April 23, A Night for Heroes will celebrate its 15th anniversary at TIAA Bank Field, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Established in 2008 to support UF Health TraumaOne, A Night for Heroes has grown thanks to the devoted volunteers who give their time and energy to raising awareness and support for trauma and critical care at UF Health Jacksonville.

Dr. Aaron Saguil to lead Department of Community Health and Family Medicine
With a career as an Army physician that has taken him to Washington D.C., Afghanistan, Germany and Texas, UF College of Medicine graduate Aaron Saguil, M.D., M.P.H., FAAFP, will return to Gainesville to join the faculty at his alma mater.
Saguil has been named to lead the UF College of Medicine Department of Community Health and Family Medicine as its next chair, effective June 6. He will take over for David Feller, M.D., who served as interim chair of the department.
