We Support WCOQG's Quilting Mentor Program!
 The West Central Ohio Quilters Guild [WCOQG] is having a great Mentor Program for beginning quilters! What is really great is that one of the guild members will be working with each of the new quilters -- personal attention!
I've seen a LOT of quilt classes, given all over the US, and they never have an instructor to student even close to that offering. From my experience in many different lines of study there is a high correlation of success that parallels the attention provided. The Guild deserves congratulations for this effort!
It's a one day program. The block is simple enough to get a wall hanging or small quilt done in that day. Start to finish: instant gratification!
The guild is providing machines, supplies, fabric - the whole 9 yards, including TLC.
We thought it was a great idea, so we also are offering the participants a coupon [shown] that gives them discount on longarming, batting and backing.
Unfortunately, at this point the day is fully subscribed, with a waiting list. Hopefully the demand and desire will build up for more such classes!
