NCR® LEGISLATIVE DAY RECAP

OFFICE CLOSED THIS FRIDAY IN OBSERVANCE OF GOOD FRIDAY

NCR® Legislative Day in Raleigh, NC

REALTORS® across the Longleaf Pine region convened at the Legislative Building to address housing needs in North Carolina.

A record 20-plus Longleaf Pine REALTORS® met with key delegates to lobby  NC REALTORS® legislative priorities. NC REALTORS® had over 200 new member attendees!

LPR® Cindy Ortiz of Coldwell Banker in Sanford said, “I had such an incredible experience attending the NC REALTOR®S legislative day in Raleigh for the first time. The REALTOR Rally provided invaluable information and I was able to meet with our NC Legislatures and voice my concerns about issues affecting our

industry. It was inspiring to see the power of our collective voices in action. I cannot wait to attend again next year and I am committed to being even more involved in the future.

Legislative Priorities:

Senate Bill 317 – Bipartisan legislation addressing the housing undersupply issues in NC

House Bill 409 – Regulation of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), this legislation is a light-touch zoning reform with little impact on existing neighborhoods

Short-Term Rental Regulations – Legislation will be filed soon to prevent cities from banning or restricting the use of STRs or vacation rentals.

Practical Application of Real Estate (PAREA) – NCR® supports changes to the appraisal profession that will encourage and increase diversity.

That's Who We R 2023 Ad Campaign

is Now Live!

We’re thrilled to announce the national launch of That’s Who We R 2023, featuring new TV and radio commercials that demonstrate to consumers the value, partnership, and professionalism of a REALTOR®.

In 2023, the ad campaign focuses on the long-term relationship and trusted partnership between you and your clients, both residential and commercial. Stories demonstrating how agents who are REALTORS® are here for it all — here for first timers and empty nesters, here for immediate needs and 5-year plans, here for the love of what you do.

That’s Who We R, NAR’s national advertising campaign, helps consumers understand that REALTORS® are real estate experts in their local communities that abide by a Code of Ethics. This year, the That’s Who We R campaign works as hard you do to show the many ways REALTORS® are here to make the dream of property ownership a reality for your clients.

“REALTORS® Are Here For It” demonstrates how REALTORS® bring value, partnership, and professionalism to every aspect of the property ownership journey, and often beyond that. A fully integrated media mix of TV, radio, streaming video, digital audio, social, and search delivers this work to our target audiences nationally.
