It's National Friends of the Library week!

Woohoo! Let's celebrate the Friends of the West Newbury Library!

Did you know you can thank the Friends for funding:
·        Programming for patrons of all ages
·        All summer reading prizes
·        Museum passes
·        Extra items not covered in the library budget

As you can see, the Friends make the Library FUN!
How can I help?

The Friends is a volunteer, nonprofit, organization whose goal is to actively support G.A.R. Memorial Library. The group, which is open to all, raises funds to support library programming and improvements and also seeks to create interest in and awareness of the library's services and its needs through outreach to the community. Your support is essential to our goals.

The Friends are actively seeking and welcome new members!

Download a Friends Membership Form and join today and like and follow us on Facebook!

Is that a Raven in the library?

"Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing...." Edgar Allan Poe's narrative poem, The Raven, will be on display in the library windows the week of October 26th. This Story Walk is for all ages and can also be enjoyed during the day, but is best enjoyed after dark!
Out of respect for the neighbors, please enjoy the Story Walk before 9pm.
