Hike NS 50/50 Raffle
Hike Nova Scotia is hosting a 50/50 online raffle. Support our work by purchasing tickets from October 15th to November 12th for your chance to win!

Job Posting Deadline: Nov. 28
Hike NS, through a partnership with Nature Canada’s Work to Grow program, is hiring a Project Officer for 13 weeks to assist with the NS Walks project and other Hike NS initiatives. A goal of Work to Grow is to diversify and strengthen the nature sector. This opportunity is only available to youth (up to age 30) who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Colour.

Call for Winter Guided Walks: Deadline Dec. 12
Hike Nova Scotia invites groups across NS to partner with it on delivering winter guided walks or snowshoe events in January, February and March of 2022. Hike NS will help promote events and provide a how-to guide and trail prizes to giveaway. If your municipality, First Nation or organization can organize a walk or snowshoe event (or already plan to host one), please register your event by December 12, 2021 for events between January 14 and March 13, 2022.

Online Auction: Nov. 18-27
Mark your calendars and support the Hike NS Hiking for the Holidays Online Auction taking place from November 18 to 27. Shop once and give twice: once to your loved ones and once to Hike NS. Proceeds will support Hike NS's work. Do your holiday shopping online with us and spend more time hiking, less time shopping. From big gifts to stocking stuffers, we've got presents that hikers will love. We'll send you an email when the link is live.
Giving Tuesday: November 30
Please keep Hike NS in mind as you begin thinking about how you might donate to causes to mark Giving Tuesday on November 30.

Hiking Summit: Book Your Accommodations Now!
We’ve heard through the grapevine that accommodation is booking up in June in Cheticamp. If you plan to come to the Hiking Summit (June 3-5, 2022), consider booking your accommodation ASAP to avoid disappointment. Summit registration will open in early winter 2022.
