Welcome to Wild Birds Unlimited! HPED is pleased to welcome Wild Birds Unlimited, which opened in February in the Manoa Shopping Center next to Staples! The store will offer a variety of bird seed blends, suet, bird feeders, bird houses, bird baths, books and gift items.

Wild Birds Unlimited Owner Ben Labowitz grew up in Mount Airy and Elkins Park but now lives in Wynnewood. Ben has an MBA in Marketing from Drexel and a background in market research and analysis. "This is a career change for me," explains Labowitz. "I wanted to run a small business that I could feel good about. I like the way that my store brings people and nature together." Ben was interested in opening a store near his home in Wynnewood, and selected Havertown because of the demographics and population density. Wild Birds Unlimited will be hosting events once or twice a month: bird walks and speakers on topics such as hummingbirds, photography of birds, creating a bird-friendly garden. Thank you to Town Tap for hosting our first Meet & Greet of 2018! We had a great turnout with 60+ people. The food was great and the beer was refreshing! What a great addition to the booming restaurant offerings in Havertown!

Moonlight Dining on the Boulevard will be Back! Our Moonlight Dining on the Boulevard, held in July 2017, was very successful. With close to 2500 people in attendance, and rave reviews from both residents and participating businesses, we decided to organize several this year. Save the following dates! Sunday, May 20th - Brunch Tuesday, June 26th - Dinner Tuesday, July 17th - Dinner Tuesday, Sept 11th - Dinner Stay tuned for details!
