Discover Haverford welcomes our newest staff member Lynn Fitzgerald! Lynn brings a background in customer service, project management, and event planning. She will work 20 hours per week, assisting with our projects and programs, fundraising, volunteer engagement, communications, and office management.

Discover Haverford Welcomes Busted Saddle, LLC

Tina Johnson is the founder of Busted Saddle LLC, a mobile bartending service that has become a hit in both Delaware and Montgomery County. Originally from Horsham, Tina eventually settled in Haverford with her husband and son. Tina's professional background is diverse, working sixteen years in mobile events, marketing, and contracts across the United States for a large company. Additionally, she has plentiful experience in customer service, having been a bartender for over two decades. Tina loves the art of mixing drinks and the joy of meeting new people. Her cumulative experiences laid the foundation for Busted Saddle LLC, a business that allows her to provide mobile bartending services at people's homes and events.

Haverford Township Announces Economic Development Grant Program for Women & Minority Business Enterprises

Haverford Township is proud to introduce the Women & Minority Business Enterprises (WMBE) Economic Development Grant Program. This is a competitive grant program offering 10 awards of $10,000 each to promote economic growth and development of Haverford Township businesses meeting the classification of women and/or minority business enterprise.

The application window opened Monday, July 17, 2023, and will remain open through September 15, 2023, at 4pm.

Help out with the 2nd Annual Havertown Holiday Festival!

The Havertown Holiday Festival is a family friendly event focused on Christmas, Hanukah, and Winter Fun! Are you interested in joining the planning committee? Committee members help with deciding the program elements, work on the auction, assist with decorating, and help with the festival on the day of the event (December 2 with a raindate of 12/3). Meetings are generally one evening per month. If you are interested, contact Jeanne at jangell@hped.org.
