Holiday Season Recap

A Record-Breaking Holiday Celebration

The 4th Annual Havertown Holiday Festival was a tremendous success, bringing thousands of neighbors together on Brookline Boulevard for a full day of seasonal fun, live performances, kids’ activities, and holiday cheer. Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and community partners, the festival not only exceeded expectations—it surpassed our fundraising goal, providing critical support for Discover Haverford’s programs, events, and beautification initiatives throughout the year. We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this signature community celebration such a memorable and meaningful day.

Angela Serensky

Angela served on the board of Discover Haverford for the past six years. During that time, she was a member of the Outreach Committee, Director of the Dining Club, and continually embraced the mission of Discover Haverford and sharing that work with the community. You would often find Angela at the Job Fair held at the high school with Discover Haverford staff or helping out at Haverford Township Day. We thank Angela for her years of service to the organization.

Colette Bannan

Colette has been an integral part of Discover Haverford starting in 2009 through 2019. Then returning for her final bow for the past couple of years. Colette has been part of the Promotions Committee, Soiree Committee, serving at our booth for multiple events and utilizing her background and knowledge in economic development to help strengthen the organization for the next 15 years! With gratitude, we thank Colette for her service to Discover Haverford.
