Aging well is so much about our relationship to time. Have we reconciled with the past? Are we at peace with the future? Able to live fully in the here and now? Every moment of presence is a present (gift) if we but open to it.

This workshop will explore the many dimensions of time and the timeless, as we negotiate with grace in the later years. Drew Leder M.D., Ph.D. the author of Spiritual Passages, as well as many other books and articles, both scholarly and popular, is a nationally known speaker on aging.

Together we will work with Dickens's A Christmas Carol, and his account of the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, to explore our own life story—and how it can be improved. This seminar would be a great holiday present to yourself or others as we advance into the new year.

Are there joyful memories from earlier life that help tell us who we are? Are there people from the past, including ourselves, who need forgiveness? Now that we are older, we have a more limited future: What's on our "bucket list" —and also our "f*** it list" the things we no longer want to waste time on? And most importantly, how can we become more appreciatively present? Living fully in the Now may even open an experience of Timeless Presence that transcends change and loss.
