Editor's Note: The Hawaiian Church Chronicle is released on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, but every so often, the dates align to create a 3-week gap between issues. This Chronicle Supplement is an abbreviated version of the Chronicle, to help fill that gap with time-sensitive information and announcements.

Fourth Sunday of Lent - Gracious Father, whose blessed Son Jesus Christ came down from heaven to be the true bread which gives life to the world: Evermore give us this bread, that he may live in us, and we in him; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

ANNUAL CHRISM MASS & CHURCHBIZ+

We're calling this year's event ChuchBIZ+ (Plus) with added workshops to satisfy your spiritual side!

ChurchBiz isn't only about business--we've added new workshops for your prayerful and spiritual side and calling it ChurchBiz+ (Plus). Scan the QR code or click HERE to go to the event webpage and register today! ChurchBiz+ takes place at The Cathedral of St. Andrew on Saturday, March 23!

The theme for this year's event is "Lessons Learned" as we take a look at the impact recent catastrophies have had on our churches in the Diocese. Both COVID and the 2023 Maui wildfires have presented many challenges that we continue to learn from.

Along with the administrative and "business" side of church topics, there will be several workshops focused on prayer and spiritual nurturing. There will also be afternoon tours of The Cathedral's bell tower.

The day will begin at 9:00 AM with the Chrism Mass and Eucharist, that will include the Renewal of Clergy Vows and Renewal of Baptismal Vows. ChurchBiz will commence immediately following the Chrism Mass, offering three different workshop sessions.

Cost is only $20 and includes lunch and free child care. Scholarships are available (See further below.)

The registration deadline is TOMORROW, Friday, March 8.

Don't miss out on this great opportunity! Click on the buttons below.

COVERED INTERISLAND AIRFARE: The Diocese will cover the cost of interisland airfare for two people per church from neighboring islands. We encourage you to register early to secure this benefit! Those individuals who qualify for this benefit will be contacted by our office with instructions on making your interisland reservations.

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE: We understand the importance of financial considerations and are pleased to offer scholarships that cover both interisland airfare and the registration fee. If you do request a scholarship for interisland airfare, please do not make your reservations until you hear back from us. Scholarship travel will need to be booked and paid for with our Diocesan account. We want to ensure that no financial barriers prevent anyone from attending. To apply for a scholarship, please click HERE.
