5th grade's Road to Easter.



Spanish classes created alfombras - traditional art for Easter festivals in Antigua, Guatemala.

WCA's Chapels focused on Holy Week and Easter.

ES Chapel sang Hosanna to welcome Jesus as the King.

MS/HS Chapel sang King of Kings and were reminded that if we didn't have Good Friday, we wouldn't have Easter.

5th grade had an Easter Story Egg Hunt with Exceptional Hawks.

Each of the items in the eggs told a part of the salvation story.

Kindergarten made resurrection rolls.

7th grade visited The Way of the Cross.

Many thanks to all the students, teachers and parents who contributed to our annual Operation Sandwich service project. Together, we made and delivered 1400 sandwiches to four area shelters. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus this Easter weekend!

WCA's IOWA Assessments

May 5th-9th

You can support your child and help them give their best efforts by doing the following:

• Make sure your child arrives on time each day - by 8:15.
• Avoid planned absences and appointments May 5th-9th.
• Ensure your child is well-rested throughout the week.
• Provide a substantial breakfast each day.
• Send healthy snacks. Avoid sugary foods.
• Make sure your child has a hard copy book to read.

WCA LIBRARY BOOKS

Parents,

The last day for students to check out library books is May 9^th.

All books are to be returned no later than May 16^th.

LOST BOOKS:

• Small-medium size have a $5.00 replacement fee.
• Larger books (e.g. Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs) have a $10 fee.
• Report cards will be held until books are returned or paid for.

Thank you all for an incredible year in athletics. Our teams achieved remarkable success, securing three regular-season titles and three conference championships. More importantly, our student-athletes developed as young men and women, growing in self-discipline, accountability, determination, and countless other qualities.
