Hello, WCA families,

I hope this message finds you well during this season of Advent and reflection. It truly is a wonderful time at WCA, one filled with joy, gratitude, and anticipation for all that is to come.

As we continue to celebrate this special season, we also look ahead to the upcoming school year. Re-enrollment for our current WCA students opened on Monday, December 1. All parents should have received an email with information and instructions on how to re-enroll their children. We are grateful for your partnership and for the opportunity to serve your family each day.

Enrollment for WCA siblings, WCP students, and WMC members will open on January 5, and applications for our community will begin on January 12. If you have any questions or need support during this process, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children and for allowing us to walk alongside them as they learn, grow, and flourish. We look forward to continuing this journey together.

Enrollment for 2026-27

Now Open for Current WCA Students

On Monday, December 1, enrollment opened for our current WCA students. All parents should have received an email with information on how to re-enroll their students. Enrollment for WCA siblings, WCP students, and WMC members will begin on January 5, and applications for the community will open on January 12.

• WCA Christmas Program - Friday, December 19

Grades 1-5, Exceptional Hawks, Wings of Worship

Program: 9:00, Doors open at 8:45

Location: WMC Sanctuary

• Christmas Break - December 22 - January 4
• Teacher Workday - Monday, January 5
• WCA Enrollment opens for WCA siblings, WCP, and WMC members - Monday, January 5
• Students return to school, Quarter 3 begins - Tuesday, January 6
• Report cards sent home - Wednesday, January 7
• WCA Enrollment opens to the community - Sunday, January 12

WCA School Lunch Cost

Please note that WCA's school lunch cost will be $6.50 beginning Monday, January 6.

Many items are missing their owners!

Please claim lost items before Christmas Break. All unclaimed items will be donated by December 20.

To help make this a beautiful reverent celebration,

we ask that students come dressed in Christmas best.

Weddingtoton Methodist Church would like to invite WCA families to their special Christmas events and Christmas Eve Services. Come visit the live nativity on Christmas Eve!

Classes will begin on Sunday, February 8, for youth in 6th grade and above. Rev. Dr. Moore, along with our Youth Ministers and Ministry Staff, will guide these sessions.

Coach's Notes

Your Hawks wrap up the last week of competition before Christmas Break with their final games of December this Tuesday.

Our MS Girls will be traveling to Marvin Academy, while our MS and HS Boys have a doubleheader here at The Hawks Nest against Marvin Academy and The British International School of Charlotte, respectively.



Come out and support your Hawks this week as they look to finish 2025 on a strong note.
