A Letter from the Principal
December 6, 2025
Dear WCA Families,
This past Friday, our Lower School community gathered for one of my favorite traditions of the year, our annual STEAM event, Light of the World. Each December, we set aside this time not only to explore creativity and hands-on learning, but also to pause and prepare our hearts for the Advent season. It is a joy to watch our students engage in activities that remind them of the hope, joy, and anticipation that Advent brings.
At WCA, we strive to be intentional in every experience we offer our students. Friday’s event was a beautiful example of this commitment. As students created, designed, built, and explored, they were also reminded of the true Light that guides us, Jesus Christ, and of the calling we each have to reflect His light to the world around us. Moments like these help our children connect learning with purpose, curiosity with faith, and community with celebration.
As we move deeper into this Advent season, my prayer is that our school continues to be a place where students feel the warmth of Christ’s love and understand the significance of preparing room in our hearts for Him. Thank you for partnering with us as we cultivate a community rooted in faith, wonder, and intentionality.
I hope this season brings your family moments of peace, reflection, and joyful expectation.
