WCA hosed its first college seminar with speaker Teresa Currier. It was well attended by parents and students. Freshmen gave positive feedback about their participation and what they learned.

WCA is excitedly preparing to "Take Flight" for STEAM Week

and our Healthy Hawks Fun Run!

Students are already busy raising donations for the Fun Run!

This is their opportunity to "#UseYourGift to serve WCA.

Each student received a flyer with the QR code for their fundraising page.

So far, students have raised $7,320! Way to go, Hawks!

We're striving for participation from each student.

Donations can be be paid with cash or check (no fees)

or made electronically (fee will be added ).

Please include student's name and grade for cash and check donations.

STEAM Projects

Each grade will complete a STEAM project next week.

Parents are invited to see students' projects when they attend the Fun Run. (Fun Run schedule is below.)

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED

We need volunteers to help make STEAM Week an amazing experience for students. Volunteer activities include:

• Decorating (Monday morning 7:00-8:00)
• Set up for STEAM project displays (Thursday 3:00-4:00)
• Fun Run set up (Friday morning 8:30-9:30)
• Clean up/take down (Friday 2:45-3:15)

This special performance promises an evening of

delightful entertainment for all ages.

Ticket Information:

• Early Ticket Sales: Exclusive early ticket sales for WCA families will begin on Thursday, March 20th, at 4:00 PM. Tickets will be available for purchase at the Youth Center entrance.
• General Admission: Tickets can also be purchased at the door on the evening of the performance.
• Cost: $10 per ticket for general seating.

NOTES FROM THE COACH

We are midway through the spring season, and flag football has kicked off impressively, boasting a 4-1 record and currently sharing first place in the conference standings. Next Tuesday, we will travel to Concord to face Covenant Classical, followed by a Thursday matchup where we will host Grace Covenant at The Hawks Nest.
