8th graders planned, prepared, and led WCA's activities.

2nd graders had fun with their reading activity by acting out the stories of The Baker's Dozen, The Little Red Hen, and The Three Little Pigs.

After learning about Ash Wednesday and Lent in Chapel,

what ideas did you share for our Lent calendar as ways we can do something each day during Lent to honor Jesus

and prepare to celebrate Easter?

• Give five compliments.
• Pray as a group.
• Do something to help my parents without being asked.
• Take time to pray.
• Do the vacuuming even though it's tedious.
• Read the Bible in the mornings.
• Do more things for my family, including my parents.
• Ask my parents each day if there's something I can do for them.
• Listen to worship music for 30 minutes straight.
• Pray more and be on screens less.
