IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SMART WATCHES

Parents,

Please note that Smart Watches are a technology device. Like cell phones and other personal devices, they are not to be worn or used by students during the school day.

All personal devices must remain in student backpacks until students are picked up at the end of the day. If parents need to be reached, contact will be made by WCA staff. Parents may reach their students by contacting the Front Office. For more information, please see pages 11-12 of WCA's Family Handbook.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

The NC BBQ LUNCH is PREORDER ONLY by MAY 14.

NORTH CAROLINA DAY Thursday May 18

Fourth graders will celebrate their yearlong study of North Carolina by displaying their NC Notebooks.

Chef Bob will will offer a North Carolina themed lunch of BBQ sandwich, mac-and-cheese, potato salad, cole slaw, and a Moon Pie. Yum!

PREORDER NC BBQ LUNCH

MONDAY, MAY 23

All WCA parents are welcome to participate in our tail-gate style uniform swap after carpool on Monday, May 23.

If you have items to offer, please park in the Youth Center parking lot and stage them from your car.

A sign with items and sizes is useful, but not mandatory.

If you do not have items to offer, please come “shop” anyway! All items are free!

No uniforms will be required the last week of school, so feel free to bring all outgrown uniform pieces.

WCA is excited to announce a new partnership with GotSneakers, an organization which recycles used athletic shoes while raising funds for non-profits.

Please consider bringing any used sneakers or athletic shoes to donate at our Uniform Swap on May 23.

PTF will mail the sneakers to GotSneakers, who will in turn make a donation to the WCA Athletic Fund.

Our goal is one pair of sneakers per family.

Help make this summer a SPLASH, not a slide!
