~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Students making it to Level 2 of Math Olympics (with medals):
Lydia Navey, Caleb Potter, Chandler Kuykendall, Edward Matthews,
and Elijah McGivern (not pictured)
Special recognition is given to Lydia Navey (8th grade) and Chandler Kuykendall (3rd grade) for earning National rankings. Lydia placed 20th and Chandler placed 25th out of more than 6,000 students nationwide!
WCA is proud of our Hawks!
5th Grade's trip to Biltmore Estate in Asheville.
They had an amazing time!
Special thanks to Officer Funderburk for speaking at the MS HS Chapel.
In addition to advising students about staying safe and making good choices, he shared the importance of treating others well, and
reminded us that our identity and true value is found in God,
not in "likes", followers, or comments made by others.
Officer Funderburk also shared how his favorite Bible verse from high school has been important all his life.
WCA Middle School students held a car wash
to earn money for middle school events.
