President's Note
Thank you for the great turnout at Trunk or Treat!  We had a smooth transition to an inside event.  We have a busy week with Red Ribbon Week and picture retakes.  Be sure to mark your calendars for Family Bingo on November 8th.  This will be a fun kickoff to the silent auction!

The library is always in need of volunteers, even if you can only work a portion of the shift it is appreciated.  I hope everyone has a great week!

Silent Auction & Bingo Night

We are making plans for our annual Silent Auction!  If you have items you would like to donate, please contact [email protected].  This is an ideal opportunity for our parents with Lularoe, R+F, Scentsy, or just crafty moms who can paint, decorate, etc to help our school with a donation!

To kick off our Silent Auction, we plan to host a Family Bingo night on Friday, November 8th.  Kids and parents can play bingo and preview some of our fabulous auction items.  

The auction will take place online, via the silent auction Facebook page, just like last year!

HCES PTA wants to say THANK YOU to some awesome volunteers!

Tamitha Dollman and Carrie Yandell have worked on our landscaping, to ensure our new area around the sign is free from weeds and debris.

A huge thanks to the AR party volunteers: Karen Woodington, Stephanie O'Neal, Kerry Russell, Molli Kirby, and Tonya Everleth for taking photographs and helping with this event!

Thank you to our Trunk or Treat chair, Melanie Basham, and her awesome commmittee!  All of our parents who hosted a Trunk (or doorway!) are so appreciated!  Thank you also to Cindy Shaver Photographer, for taking pics of our kiddos!  We appreciate your support!

Library Volunteers for November

The sign up for November library volunteers is up. Most important are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday mornings, since our library aide isn't there those days.  Volunteers scan the books out to the students, check books in and shelve the books as time permits.  Please consider working a shift in our library.  
Please note - if you can only work a portion of the shift listed, that is ok.  We appreciate all the help we can get!
