The cut-off time for information going into the Hawk Weekly will be Tuesdays at 2:30pm.

It's Time to Apply for the National Honor Society
Applications for National Honor Society are available in the front office. Current Juniors and Seniors with at least a 3.5 weighted GPA are eligible to apply. (See the application packet for complete eligibility requirements.) Applications are due by December 14. Please contact Mrs. Gaspary for additional information.
SFC's Miracle on Main Street
Thank you to Mrs. Lucille Pfund, the SFC National Art Society, Mr. Bill Tenpenny, and parents for the many hours spent on the construction of our beautiful Christmas Parade Float!


A-Team placed 2nd at the Quiz Bowl that took place yesterday in Arcadia!  Lake Region came in 1st place.  Congratulations to Frank Vecchio, the scoring leader!

Sophomore Retreat
Jesus led by example and taught us to be humble by not being afraid to lead and to serve, which was the theme for this past Friday's Sophomore Retreat. The leaders of our school, Mr. Ranieri and Mr. Franzino, exemplified this virtue during the sophomore foot washing. The sophomores also made Blessing Bags for local homeless shelters.

Support SFC Campus Ministry's fundraiser and buy quality, locally-grown Florida Strawberries. Campus Ministry receives 40% of each flat sold and all proceeds directly support Campus Ministry for class retreats, all-school retreats, campus-wide faith formation, guest speakers,  community outreach and more.

Young Adult Retreat
Bethany McBride, Santa Fe Campus Minister, will be conducting a workshop at the Young Adult Retreat on December 10th at Annunciation Catholic Church.  The workshop is titled, Speak Lord Your Servant Is Listening.

The SFC Booster Association is proud to offer for the first time a $1500 scholarship for an SFC graduating senior who has attended SFC and has been involved in SFC athletics for at least 3 years, with a cummulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants need to submit a typed essay, 500 words minimum, on: HOW HAS BEING AN SFC ATHLETE MADE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE?   
Please submit essays to the front office between Monday, February 13th and Thursday, March 16th by 2:30pm.  Please have your name on the cover sheet only.  Winners will be announced during the Senior Awards.

Mandatory Forms Needed to Participate in Sports
All students participating in sports MUST have a sports physical dated after June 1st, 2016. Print the following highlighted links ( EL2 and EL3) and make sure you take the EL2 with you and have it signed by the doctor. Both completed forms must be turned in to the front office prior to participating in practice.
Athletic Passes for the 2016-2017 School Year
Adult: $75 per pass, Student: $25 per pass
Good for all SFC home games except playoff games.

Senior Yearbook Ads
As we begin to prepare for yearbook sales we first need our senior parents to complete the link below to let us know whether they will be purchasing a senior yearbook ad.  
  • It's time to buy senior ads. Even though they are priceless, the costs are listed below. Send completed ads, in pdf or jpeg form, to Mrs. Lopez at

  • All ads need to be ordered by Monday, January 31st.
  • The cost of a yearbook is $65. This amount will be discounted if you purchase a senior ad.
  • Full Page Ad$175 ($225 for ad and yearbook)
  • 1/2 Page Ad$90 ($145 for ad and yearbook)
  • 1/4 Page Ad$50 ($110 for ad and yearbook)
