HAWKTALK: Reunion Weekend 2022 - A Pictorial

Dear Fellow Alumni,

This is a longshot ... but does anyone else remember Having A Wild Weekend; a movie starring the Dave Clark Five - one of the truly great bands of the British Invasion? What? No one remembers? Catch it if you can!

Speaking of having a wild weekend, the weekend that just ended was wild ... and fun! It was the annual COHS Reunion weekend.

On Friday, the School hosted its all-class reunion - O'HaraFest - at the school. We saw many old friends!

On Saturday, two classes celebrated milestone reunions. The Class of 1967 held a 55 year reunion and the Class of 1972 partied like it was 1999 at their 50 year reunion.

The next day, Sunday, July 17, many alumni including a large contingent of '72 grads attended an Alumni Mass at COHS. The Mass was celebrated by Father Charles Jagodzinski who was assisted by Deacon Tom Friedman from the Class of '72.

Early reports are that it will take a full year to recover from the 2022 COHS Reunion Weekend!

Today's HowkTalk is a pictorial account of last weekend's festivities!

I hope you enjoy today's article!

Go Hawks!

Final Word
Mem'ries light the corners of my mind
Misty water-colored mem'ries of the way we were

Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind
Smiles we gave to one another for the way we were

Can it be that it was all so simple then
Or has time rewritten every line
If we had the chance to do it all again, tell
me, would we, could be

Mem'ries may be beautiful and yet
What's too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget

So it's the laughter
We will remember
Whenever we remember
The way we were...
The way we were...
