Mindy Hayes is President and Owner and has over ten years experience in construction and over twenty years of operations and project
management experience.  Mindy holds a Master’s of Business
Administration from Canisius College, Wehle School of Business
as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from
The State University of New York at Buffalo.

Mindy is also a managing member of SM Hayes LLC,
a Certified WBE in Buffalo and Erie County.

Services Offered by Hayes
 It is often in our client’s best interest to engage our services early. We will work with you and your design professionals to ensure what is being designed is cost effective and meets your key criteria. We will take your job to the marketplace and obtain quality pricing. Our goal is to develop or enhance partnerships with clients and the design team.
We have dedicated resources for estimating jobs that focus on value engineering and providing design alternatives. We can work with design teams to help estimate to ensure proposed design fits both the owners and design team dream as well as budget.
As a Construction Manager, Hayes Construction will lead a team-based approach to your project. We will work with you and your design professionals to move the project to completion. Hayes works to understand the key drivers of the project and whether price, schedule or quality are your top priorities. The team strategizes together to ensure we are accomplishing your goals. Construction Management provides flexibility prior to final documents being in place and allow Hayes to be in from the start to provide Cost Management and Projections.
Hayes provides added benefits to a standard General Contractor relationship. Hayes will provide best in class management and supervision for your project and we ensure we have leading-edge subcontractors. In addition, Hayes has the ability to self-perform specific trades such as site work, concrete and finished carpentry. Hayes will self-perform to help you meet your goals of cost and/or schedule.
As an Owner’s Advisor we interact with the Owner to solicit, interview and hire design consultants and fully manage the pre-construction and design development. Upon design completion, we solicit General Contractors and/or Construction Managers to perform the construction work. In the standard owner advisory service agreement, Hayes Construction Services typically does not manage or perform construction work. We can step into this relationship at any point during a project.

This service allows the Owner to concentrate on their business and be guaranteed that the Owner’s interests are being put first and foremost. This service is most beneficial when addressing projects that have major cost and schedule constraints.
Hayes often utilizes qualified subcontractors to perform work on many of its projects. With a large directory we try to pair up qualified and appropriate subcontractors to the needs of each specific project we work on.

Hayes also employees a staff of Carpenters and Laborers to perform work on smaller projects or performing misc task or scopes of work on larger projects. Our field staff allows us to control schedule as well as help complete misc task that come up during a project that may be unforeseen but are critical.
