My son and daughter-in-law have moved back to Georgia this week and during this transition time period are staying with us, and they come with feline, their cat Shadow. We have a cat as well, Jasmine. So now there's 2 - Jasmine is a 13yr old female, Shadow is a young male. Interesting to watch them, we hear a lot of growling and hissing, but have yet to see a cat fight, hopefully we won't. In this picture, Jasmine has no idea that Shadow is behind her yet.
When combining households during such times in life not only do we transition to living with others, pets do the same. I'm guessing dogs would get along great with other dogs but I do not want to have a dog. Do you have any stories about combining households along with pets? We'd love to hear them!
