What Would You Do?

I was cleaning out my old emails and came across a poll we had a while back. The poll was: Would you want to have a carpet allowance when buying a home or have the home already with new carpet?

-It is a challenge for lenders to allow carpet allowance, so that may in itself be frustrating when going along with the loan process.

-One person wrote me and suggested "New carpet in a neutral color. People shop with their eyes. Seeing nice clean new carpet sells the house better than hearing there is an allowance to replace”.

-Others have also stated allowance so you can pick your style and color or get a wood floor.
