Everyday I wake up and look to see which homes are still on the market vs not. The ones that their listing expired, I call the owners to find out what's going on, and if they're still wanting to take offers. So, why do homes expire from the market in the first place?
There's 2 reasons: pricing and marketing. If a home is priced too high, it will sit and sit. If a home is not property marketed to alert buyers that it's out there, same thing. Sometimes though, we will hear the seller's reasons as to why their home didn't sell. Here is an article with 6 different reasons some sellers think their house didn't sell. But, it still does come back to the only true answer: has to be priced right and market correctly.
