Right now I'm on tour with a famous cover band Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras - yes, on tour with them, I'm their merch girl, I'm on the tour bus and everything. Bill was here for a couple of days and is now back home because he's taking care of business right? Since we're a husband and wife team, I'm still working making appointments for him, marketing, doing newsletters, and so on.
So, anyway, we stopped in St Louis on the way to the next show and Tom's mom had us come over to her home for a home cooked meal, to shower up, do some laundry and hang out for a bit. One thing I noticed as soon as I walked in was her family room - it's ginormous! With all of us over here - it did not feel crowded, it felt very welcoming. So, of course, my real estate mind got me thinking about those buyers who like to entertain and have people over. A big family room is a double yes for me. How about you?
Also, down in the basement, all of the band members were there jamming out and just harmonizing together. That got me thinking again: how many musicians came from homes with basements, where they could make all the noise they want verses a home where they would have to be quiet all the time? What do you think?
