Last weekend we had the best weather. Then I got the bright idea of addressing our screened porch and finishing up some caulking and painting. Then I saw it, that rotten piece of wood rot. A few pieces actually. What a pain. Well, I tried putting wood putty over it, waiting a day, then sanding. When it came down to sanding it, it broke through, so, I had to break it all open, clean all of the wood rot out, then try to make it look like it was before.
How'd it get that way in the first place? Outside water getting in from when we didn't have good drainage outside of the porch, now we do, but the damage is done.
