It's 11:46Pm, and I know our newsletter has to go out in the morning. Usually I already have it done Monday night, sometimes even Sunday. Well not today, super duper busy and it seems like we just woke up and it's already nighttime again. And I'm having quite the writers block for the past 2hrs since we got home from Pascal's (we like to go on tini Tuesday.) Anyway, as I'm thinking about what to write about, I keep hearing the loud thumps of the washing machine, (for the 4th time today,) with the same load of clothes because I get so tied up into work that I forget to take it out of the machine and put into the dryer, so....I wash them again. Even though Bill says it can stay in the machine for a while without smelling bad......no, I'm going to wash it again. I know you ladies know what I'm talking about right?
Anyway, that reminded me of when we got our pedestal thing on the bottom of our washer and dryer to raise it up so we don't have to bend over so far to get the clothes out because we're old now, as we have a front load washing machine (I'm not a fan, I like the stand up ones from the 70's & 80's but Bill likes the front load modern ones)... but, when we were getting that pedestal thing installed I remember the guy telling me that we have a tiny laundry room. OK, I knew that. Thanks for letting me know.
Well, when we show homes, and our buyer sees a large laundry room vs a small one, there is usually a "Wow! or Ooooh" sound that we hear. That's always good, and the look of amazement of having room to hang up clothes, and everything else that comes with it. So, when doing improvements on your home, if it involves making the laundry room even just a little bit bigger, it will definitely go a long way and make it more sellable. Just think of how many times you'll be washing the same load over and over again! This may be my max at 4 times, how about you? Here's a short clip to the Brady Bunch episode pictured above, episode called Swimming in Bubbles.
