Discipleship and Education
by David Sweet

Tell it to Two is commitment to pray for at least two you know who are not saved on a on-going basis.  It is also a commitment to strategically bridge conversations toward the gospel.

Be sure to mark your calendars for the TELL IT breakfast on Saturday, January 11 to hear ways to bridge conversations...how to best pray...how to spread gospel seeds all around...do's and don't's of sharing the gospel...basics of what to share...and much more!

In your adult Bible Life classes, Aaron and I are asking members to share each Sunday if possible, something about their Tell it to Two commitments and progress.

You have the most important mission before leaving planet earth?  Are you ready to get started?

A few families have provided gift cards for some families in need of help for Christmas.  Thanks!  We have a few more families in need, in case the Lord puts it on your heart.  Let me or Ethan know!  Thanks!
CLC News
by Mitzi Hudgins

"For unto us a child is born" Isaiah 9:6.  We love Christmas time at the Christian Learning Center because we are able to focus on the true meaning of Christmas:  JESUS!   It is so touching to see Christmas through a child's eyes!  In our classrooms we are learning about the nativity and the birth of Jesus.  Yesterday we had a full house at Hays Hills for our nativity play!  Our Pre-K students acted out the nativity story and our younger children sang songs for everyone!  One of the children's favorite songs is "Go, Tell It on the Mountain", and you should hear them shout the good news!  It is my prayer that all who attended were blessed by the performance.

I would like to thank the following for their hard work serving our CLC family members after the play:  Anita Stubblefield, Linda Hewitt, Carol Blue-Garcia, Billy Rose, Stephanie Sherry, Abby Sherry, Ruth Hansen, and Debbie Miller.  Their servant's hearts truly shined as they showed God's love to all of our visitors!  I pray that 2020 continues to bless Hays Hills Baptist Church and the CLC Ministry!  Merry Christmas!
From Pastor Aaron

What a wonderful time of worship as we focused on Jesus, the Greatest Gift of All through the Christmas Musical on Sunday. I was encouraged to be led in praise of Jesus by some of our youngest members and some of our oldest members. To see children, alongside youth, alongside young adults, alongside senior adults all joined in worship of Jesus was cause enough for my soul to sing. But then it was so good to be reminded of the enormity of God's love. He sent His Son because, "Mercy so great will find a way." God found a way to save sinners like you and me. Gloria!

We'll be back to our regular schedule this Sunday, December 22nd, with both bible life and worship at their usual times. We'll gather to anchor our hearts on God's word so that Scripture, not stockings or Santa, might have the more prominent place in our celebrations this Christmas. After all, Jesus is the reason for the season.
Prayer Requests

For our church to be united as one, as Jesus and the Father are one, so that our unity serves as a witness to the world of the power of Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit (John 17:21)

For our membership to be characterized by endurance and patience in joy (Colossians 1:11)

For the Holy Spirit to give us words to boldly proclaim the mystery of the gospel, as we ought to speak (Ephesians 6:19)

For our search team to be led to the person God would have to serve as our Minister of Music and Creative Arts.

For God's provision for our ministry budget and for construction of additional ministry space.
