We Serve a Risen Savior!
On Sunday we get to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and take time to rejoice in the good news that because Jesus has been raised from the dead, all of those who trust in Him can have confidence that they, too, will one day rise from the dead to rule and reign with Him forever!
We will have services at 9:30am and 10:45am and our choir will be leading in song in both services. We will not have Bible Life in an effort to make more parking available for those visiting our campus.
If you typically attend the 10:45am service and have the ability to do so on Easter, we would encourage you to attend at that time since the 9:30am service often runs low on available seats.
I want to ask you to pray for our time of worship to demonstrate our joy in the Lord and for the overflow of our joy in Christ to spill into the lives of our guests and encourage them to put their faith in Jesus.
Pray for the preaching to be clear and be empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Pray for the Lord to be honored in all we do.
We have been sent by Jesus to speak the good news of the gospel to a world that desperately needs to hear it. This Sunday is a rare opportunity in which the world comes to us. May what they see, what they hear, and how they are greeted clearly communicate the enormity of God's love for them in Christ.
Upcoming Events
Following our members' meeting on March 26th, the most common request the elders have received has been to provide an additional time for Q&A on the proposed statement on God's Good Gift of Gender in the Life of the Church. So at 6pm on Sunday, April 16th, I'll take time to teach once more and then answer questions.
On Sunday, April 23rd, we'll gather at 5:30pm for Dinner on the Grounds hosted by our Fellowship Team. We'll enjoy sharing a meal outside with one another and then gather inside to sing hymns of praise.
On Sunday, April 30th, we'll have a worship night led by our students that will begin at 6pm. It is a great opportunity to praise the Lord together and encourage the next generation as they seek to follow the Lord.
