Indicate the Hazards on a Hazardous Waste Container in a Satellite Accumulation Area
Under regulations created by the Generator Improvements Rule, hazardous waste containers in a satellite accumulation area (SAA) – in addition to displaying the words “Hazardous waste” – must also indicate the hazards of the contents by a label or mark. USEPA provides several options for compliance and leaves the final decision up to the hazardous waste generator. Be sure to know your responsibilities and requirements for hazard communication in the SAA. Read more here.
