FIRST BOTTLE OF RED CAT WINE PRODUCED AT
HAZLITT'S RED CAT CELLARS

Naples, NY (March 1, 2011)  The first bottle of Red Cat wine was produced March 1st at Hazlitt's Red Cat Cellars in Naples, NY.  Formerly the historic Widmer Winery, Hazlitt 1852 Vineyards, Hector, NY purchased the facility from Constellation Brands in 2010.  After completing a vast array of updates and capital improvements, the Hazlitt family began pressing grapes at the Naples complex during the 2010 harvest. And now, with fully operational bottling capability, the newly christened Hazlitt's Red Cat Cellars begins another era of wine production in the town of Naples.

"We are very pleased to be up and running in Naples," says Hazlitt's Red Cat Cellars co-owner Doug Hazlitt.  "This facility allows us to continue to produce the highest quality wines while keeping up with the increasing demand for Red Cat and our core brands"
