What's your plan for Walk to School Day? 
Walk to School Day is October 6 this year! You can review materials from Bike/Walk to School and Safe Routes Partnership to learn about tips and strategies to help students stay active and safe on their daily commutes. There are 15 Indiana schools registered to participate this year, make sure yours is one of them by viewing the map and signing up here!

Check out Safe Routes Partnership's latest Back 2 Schools resources! Previous resources include tips for starting a Walking School Bus, plans to create a bike train program, and strategies for improving arrival and dismissal for walking and biking. You can view the latest round of resources here.

Free Toolkit to Integrate Health and Equity into Comprehensive Plans:
This resource from APA "will help planners integrate health and equity in their comprehensive plan and plan-making processes. The toolkit builds on APA’s Comprehensive Plan Standards for Sustaining Places initiative, which established a framework for addressing sustainability through comprehensive plans. Among the 10 components of this framework, the toolkit focuses on Interwoven Equity, Healthy Communities, and Authentic Participation components."
