Join us NEXT WEEK for our Mobility Management Network Stakeholder Meetings

A white graphic with olive green text, promoting two Mobility Management Network Stakeholder Meetings for people to provide their input on our mobility and transportation system.

We need your input on transportation and mobility options for Hoosiers! As we continue to work toward the establishment of a statewide Mobility Management Network, we want to again engage stakeholders to provide an update on activities and to seek further input on the challenges and opportunities of our current transportation system.

The voices of advocates, riders, service providers, public agencies, and other interested individuals remain central in developing a comprehensive vision and framework that will better provide accessible, equitable, reliable, and affordable transportation and mobility options in and between communities across Indiana.

In centering equity principles, we want to particularly understand the impact on persons with disabilities, older adults, veterans, transitioning youth, low-income individuals, and other vulnerable populations.

Live captioning will be available for both Zoom sessions. Please join us for one of the two stakeholder meetings listed below and help to spread the word and invite others in your network:

We'll be joined by Toccarra Nicole Thomas, AICP, the Director of Land Use and Development at Smart Growth America, to learn about Form Based Codes and other Smart Growth America projects. Tim Corcoran, the Director of Planning and Community Resources for the City of South Bend, which was recognized for Zoning Code Reform in 2021, will also present alongside other team members. First Round of RAISE Grant Recipients Released

Congrats to the first round of RAISE grant recipients, which includes two Indiana communities!

The Town of Munster received over $17 million for their Ridge Road Complete Streets project. There were over 600 crashes on this road from 2016-2020. The Complete Streets project includes a multi-use path, landscaped medians and refuge islands, and new curb cuts. It will reduce road lanes and add amenities for pedestrians like shade trees and benches.

South Bend was awarded over $2 million for their Market District Improvement project. With an end goal of connected, multimodal streets, this grant funds the first portion of the project as the city removes freeway ramps that create a barrier between daily destinations.
