This action-oriented summit will identify next steps to improve transportation and mobility options for Hoosiers of all ages, abilities, income levels and backgrounds.

Indy: Kick off Year of the Trails with the Nickel Plate Trail!
This Saturday, October 23rd at 2 p.m., join Binford Redevelopment and Growth and Rails-to-Trails Conservancy at Bier Brewery for a Nickel Plate Trail Walk. See the impact of volunteer clean-ups along the trail and celebrate the Year of the Trails! This is a family event, food and drinks will be available. Congratulations to the City of South Bend for winning the 2021 Driehaus Award! The City of South Bend was selected by Smart Growth America's Form-Based Codes Institute as the winner of their Richard H. Driehaus Form-Based Code Award for achievement in the writing and implementation of a stellar form-based zoning code. Their updated Zoning Ordinance took home the prize.

The Indiana Sustainability and Resilience Conference will take place October 26-27. The virtual event will bring together sustainability professionals, educators, and students over two half-days, with free admission. This conference will train individuals on taking climate action in their community, and provide small-group consulting to sustainability professionals at Indiana organizations.
