"He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified, and on the third day be raised again.” -- Luke 24:6-7 (NIV)

Jesus lived a perfect life. His resurrection on Easter Sunday represents the fulfilled prophecy of the Messiah who would be tried, die for our sins, and rise on the third day after his crucifixion.

His resurrection also represents victory over death and the hope of eternal life for those who choose to follow him. It gives all believers hope that we can achieve victory over sin.

"While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven." -- Luke 24:51

On this, the holiest day of the Christian year, we at Christian HELP give thanks for Jesus' sacrifice, His resurrection, and celebrate the hope for a new life that only He can give.
