Join us for fellowship and a great breakfast on the first Saturday of every month. This month we will enjoy the second half of the presentation about the story of Joseph. Joseph was a man who humbly obeyed God, even when he didn't understand. Grab a friend and join us!
Prayer Shawl Ministry
THIS Saturday, October 6th,
10am - Noon, Louviers Room
Everyone is welcome! If you do not know how to knit, we can teach you! We meet the first Saturday of every month and our focus is to knit shawls and blankets for the sick and bereaved.
And we have some fun while we do it!

Talking About Race Continues! THIS SUNDAY, October 7th
(And the first Sunday of November & December as well.)
Join us for a continuing, thoughtful and lively discussion about race and related issues led by Jeanette Macon and Ann Milam. Suggested reading for this month is Stamped from the Beginning by Professor Ibram X. Kendi. The book is available for purchase in Fellowship Hall for $15.
We will meet in the Castle Rock Room from 12-1:30pm.

Are you looking for some balance as well as depth in your life?
Maybe you need an Oasis! An oasis is a place to rest and refresh ourselves and get ready for the week ahead. We start with sharing, silence and reflection around a particular theme. Afterwards, we break for a simple meal and good conversation. A great time to deepen our connections with God and one another, and nurture our spirits. Hosted by GEST (Growing Everyday Spirituality Team.) All are welcome.

New Hope is hosting its 13 th Annual Task Force Toiletries Drive to benefit the Douglas Elbert Task Force. They are in need of toiletry items as their supplies are dangerously low. Please pick up a grocery bag with a list of needed supplies from the narthex or Fellowship Hall on Sunday, October 14th.   Please bring all donations to the church on Sunday, October 21st.  Questions, contact Cindy here or Nancy here .
You can change the world. Did you know that 98% of children who grow up in a Habitat Denver home graduate from high school, which is nineteen percentage points higher than Colorado’s average? Our build for this year will begin on 11/15, and registration for volunteer days will open sometime next week. Our focused moment in worship, and offering, for Habitat will be on 10/21. Stay tuned for more information, or reach out to Dave Arnett or Jennie Avila.

Children’s Ministry is looking for a Nursery Coordinator , for Sunday Mornings and occasional special events, ranging between 6-10 hours a week. This person will be asked to greet families, lovingly care for and engage all children who attend the nursery, communicate with weekly volunteers, and ensure the nursery is clean and follows regulation. Presbyterian Women Fall Gathering, Saturday, October 13th
From the movie Hidden Figures , "Telling My Story"
Dr. Christine Mann Darden is flying in from North Carolina to present "Telling My Story." One of the "human computers" featured in the book Hidden Figures , Darden will talk about her life journey and the lessons to be learned from the movie of the same name. Registration: 9:30am, program begins at 10am

Children thru age 10, are welcome to participate, along with at least one parent, so feel free to bring a friend! Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costume to participate in fun games, crafts, the bounce house, a cake walk, and more! We do need volunteers to bake items for the cake walk: cookies, cupcakes, cakes, etc. and will send out a Sign-Up Genius soon.
