Dear Parents,

We had a great time at the Yellow River Sanctuary this week. Thanks to PTA for organizing another outdoor event for our students. This was a great time to meet with friends and still social distance.

Our students have been reading up a storm! As a school, we have read 5,000,000 more words than last year. Can we keep this going? Could we reach 10,000,000 more words?

Georgia Milestones will be here shortly. Third, Fourth and Fifth grade students will participate in the Georgia Milestones Assessment (GMAS) in April and May. You can see the assessment calendar included in this newsletter for exact grade level dates. Are you interested in an opportunity to assist your student in preparing for the GMAS Assessment? Click below!

Kindergarten registration opens April 6. Visit our school website for the link to register. Any child that will be five on or before September 1, 2021 will be able to register. Registration will be done digitally this year.

There is a correction from last week's newsletter: The final day to make your choice to be digital or in person next year is April 4th.

Enjoy your spring break. As always, don’t forget to take some time to read each day.
