Dear Parents,

This week, the district sent out an email about the instructional model for next school year. All students will be placed in-person. Parents have the option to opt out of in-person, if they wish to have their child digital. If you wish to have your child learn digitally, you must go to the parent portal and select digital for the 2021-2022 school year. This must be done by April 6. It is important to note that if you select digital for next year the district is asking parents to commit to digital for the entire year.

Parents that are using the car rider line in the morning, please remember the following information.
·        The car rider line ends at 8:40.
·        If you arrive after 8:40, you MUST park your car in a parking space and walk your child into the building. This is for the safety of your child.
·        This week, we have had at least 40 cars arriving after the 8:40 bell. This is too many cars coming in after the bell. I encourage all parents to arrive by 8:35 each day. As a reminder all buses are here and unloaded by 8:25 each day.
·        Thank you for helping us solve this problem we are having with late arrivals.

Mark your calendars for April 1 and 2. PTA is sponsoring an outing at Yellow River Sanctuary. This is a great way to continue to social distance, but visit with friends and family in an outside area.

Spring break begins April 5. If you are traveling out of the country, you must quarantine for 10 days after you return. Please notify your child’s teacher if you need to quarantine so they can set the student up for digital learning.

The March AR reading competition ends on Wednesday. Please encourage your child to read and take AR tests before Wednesday.

Have a great weekend!
