MRS. JOHNSON'S NOTES
Dear Parents,

Thanks to the parents for helping students complete their digital assignments on Tuesday. The time allowed our teachers to collaborate with their teams and put plans in place for the remainder of the school year. Thanks to all the parents who attended the PTA General meeting and the School Council meetings this week. Check out our web page for information from the meetings. We are thankful for our school resource officers for helping us practice a lockdown drill. We have to conduct this drill twice a year.

We need you! See the open PTA positions below for next school year. This is a great way to get involved in your child’s education and to support our school. Without PTA volunteers, we would not be able to have so many events.

We have two additional opportunities for parents. If you are interested in being on the School Council board or the equity committee, please send me an email at lisa.marie.johnson@gcpsk12.org ,and I will add you to the list.

Have a great weekend and enjoy the first day of Spring. As always, continue to encourage your child to read every day and take AR tests.
